Legendary Singer Bhupinder Singh passed away at 82

He died on Monday at a city hospital from problems connected to COVID-19 

and suspected colon cancer “He was admitted to the hospital eight to ten days ago as 

he had some infection in the urine. After tests were performed, he tested positive for COVID-19

He passed away at around 7.45 pm due to suspected colon cancer and had COVID-19,” wife Mitali Singh said

The singer was famous for his best songs like “Do Diwane Shehar Mein“, “Ek Akela is Shehar Mein“, 

“Thodi Si Zameen Thoda Aasman“,“Duniya Chhute Yaar Na Chhute” and “Karoge Yaad Toh“, among others

He was also the guitarist on many famous track He was born on 6 February, 1940 in Amritsar, Punjab as Bhupinder Soin

He begain his career working in All India Radio in Delhi as a musician and singer. The music director heard him singing 

and called him Mumbai and the journey began after this Bhupinder got married to singer Mitali.
