About :
Casio was instituted as Kashio Seisakujo in 1946 by Tadao Kashio (1917 to 1993), an engineer concentrating on invention technology. Kashio’s first significant outcome was the yubiwa pipe, a finger ring that would exist as a cigarette, permitting the wearer to smoke the cigarette feather to its nub while also giving the wearer’s hands-free. Japan was consumed shortly following World War II, so cigarettes were valuable, and the discovery was a success.
After viewing the electronic calculators at the first Business Show in Ginza, Tokyo in April 1949, Kashio and his blossoming brothers (Kazuo, Toshio, and Yukio) used their earnings from the yubiwa pipe to improve their calculators. Most maximum of the calculators at that time completed using gears and could be accomplished by hand utilizing a crank or utilizing a motor.
Toshio maintained some knowledge of electronics and fixed out to obtain a calculator using solenoids. The desk-sized calculator was achieved in April 1954 and was Japan’s prime electro-mechanical calculator. One of the primary and more significant innovations of the calculator was its appropriation of the 10-key number pad; at that time other calculators were doing a full keypad, which suggested that every place in the number had nine keys. Another different variation was the use of a single display window preferably of the three display windows used in other calculators.
