Sachin has two sisters and a brother. His sister Sabina is married to Ajit Agarkar and his brother Arun is married to Pooja. Sachin also has a niece named Aarti.

Sachin’s childhood was spent in Ratnagiri district in the state of Maharashtra. He attended St. Joseph’s High School in Ratnagiri and played cricket for the school team as well as for various regional teams. After graduating from high school, Sachin went on to study commerce at Mumbai’s Manwil College but quit after one year to focus on his cricket career.
